Even with all the action she still managed to get some unbelievable classic TESOD shots which you can access *. Thank heavens Mike Waters was spotted on shore helping a J22 crewmate set-up, as I whisked him right away to set up the course just in time for the first gun (of course he had ALL the appropriate RC gear in his car!).Ī photographer friend of V15 sailor Nick Muzia, Tara Roberts, was also put into RC action helping PRO John Quay on the ‘Edgar D’. Therefore, no rest for the RC & mark boat and even some fun ‘catch the buoy’ legs as fleets chased the moving marks to weather and to leeward! The steady westerly that had prevailed all day though was effected as the wind fought the clouds for both velocity and direction. Once again the Annapolis gods split the clouds as we watched t-storms pass to the south and north of us both prior to launching and again as we headed in. Even though spirits were down with the announcement that the Blue Angels had to cancel their flight show this year, sailors spirits were enlightened with a beautiful night out on the water.
